US Environmental Protection Agency controls ethylene oxide emissions

In November 2019, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed that US chemical manufacturers must reduce their annual emissions of ethylene oxide (EO). In September 2018, the EPA issued a national air toxicity assessment report covering the potential threat of ethylene oxide.
The EPA is requesting a reduction in the emissions of carcinogenic ethylene oxide produced at 13 plants in Louisiana. Involved in BASF, Ineos, Formosa, Sasol, Shell, Dow and so on.
In 2019, China's ethylene oxide industry has limited expansion, but in the future, ethylene oxide will continue to be concentrated in 2020-2021.
