Tips of application of polycarboxylate high-performance water reducer(VII)： pH Value Issues of Polycarboxylate Superplasticizers
The pH value of Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer is relatively low compared to other high-efficiency water reducers, and some only have a pH value of 6-7. Therefore, they are required to be stored in containers made of fiberglass, plastic, and other materials instead of metal containers for an extended period. Storing them in metal containers may cause the Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer to deteriorate, and prolonged acidic corrosion can impact the life span of metal containers and the safety of storage and transportation systems.
